ICPIC 2025: An Enriching Experience
Attending ICPIC 2025 in Geneva has been a truly enriching experience. The conference offers a transformative opportunity to gain global insights into infection prevention and control (IPC), bringing together leading international experts to share cutting-edge research, innovations, and best practices. This dynamic exchange fosters collaboration across disciplines and borders, advancing the field of IPC.
One of the key highlights was the presentation on healthcare-grade ultra-microfiber (HGUM) technology for healthcare cleaning, which emphasized that not all microfibers are created equal. The research showcased HGUM MF’s superior performance in trapping, cleaning, and removing contaminants—underscoring its value in enhancing hygiene standards.
Additionally, the EvSOP Playbook results demonstrated the powerful impact of integrated IP/EVS collaboration using Cintas solutions, highlighting how strategic partnerships can sustain long-term hygiene improvements in healthcare settings.
Beyond the technical insights, ICPIC 2025 served as a valuable platform for strengthening professional relationships. I had the opportunity to connect with members of the EVSOP group and other cleaning professionals, paving the way for future collaboration. The event also facilitated strategic business discussions, aligning innovation with operational excellence in healthcare environments.
